Using your organisation’s logo on Google Workspace is a great way to enhance brand recognition and make internal users feel right at home.

This blog covers how to upload your logo the right way so it looks great and meets Google’s technical requirements. In today’s element, we will talk approximately how to provide your brand a greater visibility and cohesion in Google Workspace.
Upload the logo after it has already been edited to match those specifications, and then just let the system take over from there. Google Workspace administrators can add custom logos to core service pages like Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Groups. This will change the default Google branding that shows at the head of most UI.
Google Workspace Logo Requirements
• File Type: PNG or GIF (please remember that animated GIFs are not supported)
• Maximum size: 30 KB
• Width: 320 px
• Height: Exactly 132 pixels
This could result in distortion or resizing problems when uploading smaller files or larger files, respectively.
Step-by-Step Upload Guide
1. Log in to Google Admin Console with an administrator account. Regular Gmail accounts won’t work.
2. You can find this by opening your company profile and going to Account settings → Personalisation. Please note: one needs to have Domain Settings admin rights.
3. Click Select file to upload > select image (preview it) > Save.
4. The new logo may take up to 4 days to show up in all Google Workspace services.
Key Notes and Best Practices
• Your organisation can see the logo when using it.
• Safari is not compatible with this function; therefore, uploading can only be done through Google Chrome.
• Logos will not show on mobile devices either, so be sure to view them on a desktop.
• Do not add any of the following except for “Powered by Google” text and artwork, which is permitted.
